Private Lesson Guidelines 2022–2023

Cancellation Policy

Lessons are typically scheduled for a regular weekly lesson time. However, I firmly believe that students should pursue diverse interests, both within and outside of music, and such involvement naturally results in occasional conflicts. There is no fee to cancel or to reschedule a lesson, but please give at least two hours’ notice whenever possible.

Materials

I typically purchase materials myself and mail/deliver them to the student—I’ve found that I often get better discounts as a music teacher and can pass those along to students, and this ensures that the students are purchasing the correct materials. Material costs incurred will be added to each student’s monthly invoice.
